Excel Functions

  • CANCATINATE()  – Concatenate string
    • Eg : if A2 contains Arun, B2 Contains Prakash, C2 Contains Maruthanayagam then A1=CONATINATE(A2,B2,C3)  Result is “Arun Prakash Maruthanayagam
  • COUNTIF()  – If you want to count the duplicates in the whole Column, use this formula =COUNTIF(A:A, A2)
    • Example : =COUNTIF(A:A, A2)

What is windows powershell?

  • Windows PoweShell is tool from Microsoft.
  • Used for task automation and configuration management framework.

 

Run Powershell.exe

  • Method 1: Windows + R  and type powershell  and hit “enter”
  • Method 2 : Click Start, type PowerShell, and then click Windows PowerShell.
  • Method 3 : From the Start menu, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click the Windows PowerShell folder, and then click Windows PowerShell.


Windows Command Prompt

  • $PSVersionTable   – Find out the version of powershell
  • Network : arp -a                   – List out all IP connected LAN network.
  • Network : ipconfig                – View the default IP of system
  • Network : netsh wlan show profile NETWORK NAME key=clear – View Saved LAN Network Password
